ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

As Orallar Deri ve Deri Mamülleri San.Tic. A.Ş. ("MATMAZEL"), we attach importance to the protection of your personal data. Therefore, we collect and process your personal data in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and the relevant legislation.

Under this clarification text; the data subjects are distributors and dealers who use the website and/or submit their requests. We collect only the necessary personal data, process and store them by the legal period, and destroy it with the most appropriate method for your safety and privacy upon the completion of the period.

Through this text, we aim to inform you about your personal data as well as fulfilling our obligations under the Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698, Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, Code of Obligations No. 6098, Law No. 5651 on Regulation of Broadcasts Made on the Internet, and Fighting Against Crimes Committed Through These Publications, The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 and other applicable legislation.

We collect your personal data within the scope of your membership, order, and service procurement processes, following your login to the platform. The legal reasons and purposes for the processing of your collected personal data are as follows:

• Identity (Name, Surname, Signature, Identity Number, Tax Identity Number), Contact (E-mail Address, Contact Address, Telephone Number), Customer Transaction (Order Request Information, Credit Card Information in Credit Card Transactions, Bank Account Information in Remittance Transactions), Transaction Security (User Name, Password, Website Login-Output Information, IP Address, Log Records) information is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract, that the data controller can fulfill its legal obligations, and upon its legitimate interest, which does not harm the fundamental rights of the person concerned. The purposes of processing these data are to follow up your requests and complaints, to carry out the sales operations, and logistics processes of goods and services, to carry out membership processes, to issue invoices.
• Marketing (order history, survey, cookie records) data, which is subject to express consent, for the purpose of sending e-mail or SMS notification about new products and stocks, conducting business development processes, and conducting marketing analysis studies within the scope of sales processes.

In line with the above-mentioned purposes, in accordance with Article 8 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, we may share your personal data with contracted legal and real persons, legal advisors, financial advisors, and tax advisors, provided that all necessary precautions are taken. In case of legal necessity, transfers can be made to institutions authorized to request personal data such as regulatory and supervisory institutions, courts, and enforcement offices, and to persons authorized by them.

MATMAZEL can transfer your identity, communication, and customer transaction data set provided in this text abroad since the servers are located abroad and shipping processes include delivery in foreign countries.

Regarding your personal data processed by MATMAZEL, your rights below are reserved in accordance with Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data:

• Learning whether personal data is processed,
• If personal data has been processed, requesting information about it,
• Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the purpose,
• Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at home or abroad,
• Requesting correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
• Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data,
• Requesting notification of the transactions made pursuant to clauses (d) and (e) of Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
• Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems
• Requesting compensation for the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.

It is crucial to state that MATMAZEL has the right to make changes in this text due to amendments in the Law and new methods or regulations that may be introduced by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.

We process your personal data by taking all necessary security measures, provided that they are used limited to the purpose of processing specified in this Clarification Text. Note that the personal data will be stored during the legal period or for the period required by the processing purpose. Matmazel may continue to be use the data by anonymizing at the end of the period of storing, or destroy them fully in accordance with the relevant procedure legislated.
